On the Road to Recovery

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support regarding my Dad. I'm glad to say he is on his way to a full recovery (minus a spleen I guess). He has been home for a little over a week now. He is getting stronger everyday and has been feeling really good the past few days. He has about another 4-6 weeks before he can go back to work. So in the meantime he is eating as much as he can tolerate to gain back some of the 15 pounds he lost while in the hospital, allowing his immune system to recover and rehabing his fractured shoulder. Benson was so excited to see his Pompa when he finally came home. Benson and my Dad are attached at the hip so not seeing him for over 3 weeks was really had on Benson. Now every time Benson says "Pompa" he also says "Ouch." Kids are so funny!
