Michael's favorite part of the parade Sponge Bob. He kept saying Sponge Bob was going to be the parade just to be funny. We were both shocked when he was actually in the parade.

Lentil Festival
On Saturday we went to the Lentil Parade and Festival in Pullman. Benson was so funny the entire parade. The parade started at 11 so we headed to Pullman after Michael got off work at 10. Benson usually takes a nap around 10:30 or 11:00 so he fell asleep on the way there but of course woke up when I took him out of his carseat and tried to put him in his stroller. He stayed awake for 99% of the parade even though he eyes kept closing, he just didn't want to fall asleep. He was so excited and interested in the floats, music and people sitting around us. He finally decided to crash and fall asleep about 10 seconds before the giant lentil came down the street as the last float. He missed the highlight of the parade!

Only in Pullman would there be a Lentil parade! We miss Moscow and being able to hang out with you guys. Wish we could have been there at the Lentil parade.
